It's the front cover only, which is exactly what I wanted since my current back cover is still in good shape. The magnet on the cover is stronger than my old one, so it does tend to stuck on other things but I am total ok with it. Will definitely buy again.

Although I'm happy with the case
Although I'm happy with the case, I only gave it 4 starts because it doesn't stay propped up very well - the 3 ridges aren't big enough to keep my iPad propped up so any slight movement it fall down. Other than that, the case was exactly what was described - it's very light and protects my iPad well.

Good product. Color needs to be more accurate in the pictures.
Works nicely with the iPad. It is a nice fit. I do wish the color was represented a little more accurately in the pictures, though. I did not take out any stars for this, but the purple color that I received was quite a bit darker than what is shown on the picture.

Magnets come off and lose their magnetic properties after very little use
Sadly, I have to give this product a low review. Color is great, fits well but the magnets only worked for about a month. Now it will not stick on the iPad and is basically worthless. Very disappointing.

Saved a Bundle
I priced some cover at a local Apple Store. I had just purchased a new iPad and wanted to replace the original cover on the older iPad which handed down to my lovely wife. Bottom line, I saved a bundle by purchasing the replacement cover on Amazon. Works just as good as the original.

polka dots are pretty, purple is nice just wish....
Pretty and all that, just wish I didn't have to keep putting my iPad back into it. I have ipad two and the case does not hold it securely, ipad falls out a lot. Thankfully no damage to iPad yet. I'm going to search for a better case.

Probably your best bet for an older iPad
The material this is made of is not as strong as the one provided orginally by Apple, it is already starting to fold at the point where the cover attaches to the magnetic 'spine', but seeing as the orignal product is no longer available, this seems to be the next best thing.
