Boulevard Womens/Ladies Lace Brogue Shoes

I confess, when looking for a pr. of leather wing topped brogues I shopped price first, as in low. I wanted a pr. but knew I wouldn't wear them very often, they're such a departure from the uber feminine cut designer shoes I normally wear. But I had one outfit I recently purchased and the catalog pictured it with a pr. of leather oxfords & I wanted the 'look' completely but not willing to spend $100 to $200 or more for shoes I'd rarely wear. Searched the Interent & since these are trending right now there are some gorgeous ones out there with high tickets. Price isn't normally an issue for me when it comes to shoes but for these I wanted to stay low. Naturally, Amazon carried a couple of lower priced one. For under $30 I did not expect much but as long as they fit the outfit I'd muddle through. Took awhile to get these, they came from Northern Europe. Worth the wait! What a pleasant surprise. They're lovely. Unbelievable, they're comfortable as heck. I expected for $30, I'd wind up with blisters. Not so. Extremely well made, good looking shoe for an unreal price. Wow .. SO surprised and so satisfied I'm going to check out this seller's web site.

I've had the shoes for 1 day and so far they are comfortable and look stylish. However, as soon as I opened the box I was hit in the face with that "cheap material smell." You know that smell that many cheaply made items have that never seems to go away? It is embarrassing to wear these shoes because of the smell. I feel like it is giving me and everyone around me a headache.Size- I wear a 8.5 US, these are a 7 UK. They feel about a half size bigger but not so big that it matters.

The smell, I admit, was strong and did smell strongly of gasoline; however, the scent has faded and is no longer as strong. I believe with time it'll be gone completely. The style is not as appealing on me as I hoped they'd be, but they'll do for now.

These shoes look great but are definitely made out of a low quality synthetic material. They have an odd odor that hasn't gone away completely even after months of wear. They serve my purposes but I don't wear them daily or in bad weather.

I love these. Was worried about the size, I'm a 8 1/2 in dress shoe and went with the 8 since they do not come in halves. They are actually a little loose, but fit well with or without socks and comfortable.

I LOVE these shoes. I know some people complained about the smell, but really, it isn't that strong and doesn't bother me at all, and I tend to be very sensitive to smells. These make me look so dapper! I wish I could wear them everywhere but I am afraid to scratch them haha!

Very pleased with the product and with customer service. There was some confusion about my shipping address, and customer service reps were very helpful in resolving the issue. The shoes themselves are exactly what I'd hoped for. I'll be wearing them to work on a daily basis. I noticed some other reviewers complain about the "new shoe" smell, which is strange to me; they don't have a very strong odor, as far as I can tell.

As read in previous reviews. They had a bit of an odder to them, but after awhile the odder was gone. The fit is okay. For occasional wear they'll do fine.
