Bamboobies Women's Belly Balm, White, Organic Cream for Stretching Skin, 4 Oz Jar

I absolutely love everything about this belly balm so far. The scent is super soft and mellow which is great for my super sensitive preggers sense of smell. Also, I love how it feels on my skin! Its moderately thick but not overly heavy and my skin is already becoming super soft just from using it the few days I have had it. Hopefully keeps the stretch marks at bay as I am just at the end of my first trimester and have already popped quite a bit as I was tall and slender prior to getting pregnant. I am applying a couple times a day just because I love it so much so fingers crossed :) I will give an update in a few months on efficiency of preventing the stretch marks but as I said I just love the product regardless so far.

I started trying many different belly creams when I first got pregnant. I tried burts bees, honest company, bio oil and cocoa butter. All the lotions felt like they would dry up within minutes. This cream is amazing! It felt like it made a good layer of hydration for the stretching skin and I swear by it as one of the reasons I never got stretch marks! (Had a 9lb baby and gained 35 lbs with pregnancy) I know stretch marks are mostly genetic but this lotion truly avoided any itching and I felt my skin was hydrated for hours!! Highly recommend!

So I first wanna say that I am extremely particular about scents, especially since becoming pregnant, and this stuff smells good. It's not anything I'd rave about, but it's not obnoxious in any way and it doesn't smell like baby stuff or have that like old person/baby Aquaphor kind of scent.Texturally, it's a little weird to me because it's slightly grainy, but it's also light enough and not greasy or oily. Once you've got it on and rubbed in, it doesn't leave you feeling lubed up like a baby pig. It also works really well for a number of things. So far, I have no stretch marks, although honestly I think that is more genetic than anything; it also helps calm itching and keeps my skin hydrated. I use a vitamin C wipe before I put it on, just as an extra boost for my skin.

This is my first pregnancy. I bought this product in my first trimester and have applied it after shower/bath and when I have felt dry on my belly. I am currently in my 3rd trimester and I have 0 stretch marks on my belly. All of my sisters got stretch marks while they were pregnant. However, I neglected my hips and have a few marks showing on one hip now. Don’t neglect your hips! They expand too! Overall - I am happy with the product. It keeps my belly and hips coated for a long time before I feel dry and need to apply again.

I really like this stuff. 24 hours later and my stomach still feels moist and smooth from this. Only downside this type of thing is that it can tend to feel a bit greasy but it's fine. I figured as much.

This is based on one use. I'll update this if anything changes. The consistency is a thick paste but it absorbs nicely. I prefer a balm over an oil because the oils never absorb into my skin and I end up feeling like a oiled up pig. The reason for the 3 stars is because 5 people couldn't open the jar. My husband had to smash open the jar and completely destroy the lid. I just put the jar in a ziplock so it doesnt dry out.

I LOVE this stuff!! I used it every single day in my 2nd and 3rd trimester and I got ZERO stretch marks. I’m sure genetics play a part in that too but I know this helped. I was pregnant in the winter and normally my skin gets very dry and this stuff kept it from itching and getting dry. I have continued to use it after I had my baby for dry spots.

They say stretch marks are hereditary, but twin moms grow so much faster they’re bound to be more susceptible. I, however, was blessed with a tub of this when I first found out we were pregnant and I’m convinced it’s why I never had stretch marks. 100% recommend!
