Nice... as a VICE! (Or possibly better suited for children)
I am a sign language interpreter, so it is vitally important that my clients be able to see my facial expressions and lip movements. Without getting too deeply into why I chose this option, suffice it to say I have tried many—including the masks with window built in and every variety of face shield—disposable and not. I was attracted to this one because of the many color options and the fact that I was able to get two for one. I particularly like the fact that there is no writing across the forehead “FACE SHIELD.” in my line of work, having wording on my face can be a distraction, so the nice blank (regardless of color) headgear is a big plus. The big negative of this headgear is that while yes, it IS “adjustable,” it is not especially comfortable. It is not like a baseball cap or wristwatch band with a cloth strap to adjust or even a nice stretchy elastic band. No, this comes in a thick plastic coil, closed up so tightly that you have to pry it open carefully, ease it around the circumference of your head, slowly ease your hands out of the way, and pray you don’t let go too quickly, or it will snap around your cranium and have you seeing stars. Unless you have a head the size of a small house cat, you’re going to have a similar issue. I have a reasonably small head for an adult (I actually wear children’s glasses), but at the end of a few hours of wearing this thing, I was blindly feeling around for my bottle of headache remedy. It is like a constant vice grip. I’m going to try to find a way to loosen its grip because it does have plenty of positives, but until then, one hangs on the wall, and the other is still in the box it came in.As for its other features, I do like how the shield part gives me more protection on the sides than others I’ve tried, but that may be because of how little opens—one plus, at least. The protective plastic coating (on BOTH sides) is a bit of a pain to remove—especially around the edges. The best I can offer is it takes time and lots of patience. The one pictured still has the coating in tact. The shield itself is a nice sturdy plastic—a fairly heavy gauge. It is NOT the flimsy acetate used in the disposable face shields. While I wouldn’t want to go out of my way to test this, I don’t think these will shrivel up like Shrinky Dinks®️ as their counterparts have done in a hot South Florida car when accidentally left on the back seat. 🙄 I’m not sure yet what can be used to clean it without clouding it/altering the integrity of the plastic, but when I find that out, I will update. It is fairly clear, but there is a slight haze. It could be a reflection off of my glasses due to the way it has to tilt to accommodate them, but whatever it is is not a deal breaker for me.Before I used the first shield, I took the time with a seam ripper and removed the label on the front that says, “Made in China.” I don’t really care what it says, but again, I just don’t want words on my face. It’s really kind of odd that the tag is placed there; most labels are in the back. The added rope chain is a nice feature that allows you to remove the shield and hang it around your neck when only a face mask is necessary, and to safely hang on a hook away from sharp objects when not in use.One final mention: as I said, I wear glasses. I found I had to make unusual adjustments to the way I wore this shield in order for it not to scratch against my glasses. Yes, the entire plastic part tilts/swivels which is great for added maneuverability, but the whole point protecting others from your breath droplets, and you, somewhat, from theirs; if you tilt it back too far, there is a big gap underneath, so the point is defeated. All I’m saying, is don’t be in a rush the first time you put it on.In a nutshell, I do like the shield. It does what it advertises, but it squeezes the daylights out of my skull. I will look for ways to stretch it to make it more comfortable and will update this review if I find one; meanwhile, I humbly suggest it may be better suited for children than adults.

Sturdy but uncomfortable
It's a very sturdy face shield. However, I have to keep adjusting it on my head because my head starts throbbing if I keep it in the same spot for more than 15 minutes.

Good choice!!
I just received mine, and I am happy with my choice. I just want to know if I can buy replacement shields without having to buy the complete set? I don't know how long the shields will stay clear since I bought these for my 8 year old daughter. As I do expect, the shields will get scratches and I just want to replace them when they do.

This will squeeze your head into a headache.
The headband is extremely tight and does not fit an adult's head without uncomfortably squeezing. I put it on my bowling ball for several days trying to stretch it out enough for it to not be painful to wear, but it's still too tight.
