Wow!
Just got back from a big trip to Norway so am finally writing a full honest review. I used this bad boy every day, filled to the brim in every compartment. I was surprised to have put everything I needed inside, just to have a ton of space left over. I put my kids shoes in the bottom zipper compartment (it held 4 pairs, 2 being wellies). Both sides held water bottles, but I would occasionally clip one onto the front of I needed to hold more bottles. The entire thing is so sturdy and comfy, especially during long hikes. The stomach clip helped take pressure off my back and I was able to loosen or tighten as needed. My stomach is larger so I thought it may be difficult to clip it closed, but that didn't matter at all, it was very spacious for anyone larger or smaller than me (I'm a UK size 16).Some of what I had in here at one time:3 water bottles, 5 pairs of pull-ups, 5 diapers, 2 packs of wipes, 1 pack of antibacterial wipes, 3 large puffer coats, 6 passports, tripod, 4 pairs of shoes, 2 blankets, 4 medium size stuffed animals, a bag of snacks, folder of important documents, keys, wallet, bags of souvenirs, and so much more. It fit more than my suitcase I brought on the trip and still had room, but I also love the fact that even if you want to carry very little or a lot, you can use the clips and straps to make the bag tight and smaller if you need to, especially for size restrictions for travel on planes and such. It was very comfy, very durable. I used it everyday, all day, for a week and had no issues at all. With the different zipper compartments, and other compartments inside you will have room for everything you need, and you won't be in pain if you need it to hike. It also comes with a rain cover, and is very good in the rain. I had mine in the rain for a few days of the trip and everything inside stayed completely dry even without the rain cover on!

Brillant bag
Bought this fir my eldest son who was travelling home from uni at Xmas and realised he didn't have a suitcase etc. Of course it was a great hit wuth him, it'd trendy looking fir that street look and he was really happy as it held lots of his clothes etc and he felt it was sturdy comfortable without being bulky...he was very happy as it travelled well Suze wise too on two trains and a bus ..perfect for the 19 year old who wants to look cool whilst being fashionable and comfortable he absolutely loves it and feels confident travelling with it now...for me that's a win !! Plus when I saw it when he got home I was actually impressed how well made it is and I was very happy he likes it he will look after it and it's given him a sense of freedom and style ..its a win !

Its a good bag, but not amazing...
I've taken this bag on a few shorter treks and 10 mile hike + wild camp on the South West Coastal Path. (its long when haven't done one in yonks lol), I feel like I can give this an honest review. The good - A very good amount of storage space. Literally minimal, minute stuff to moan about here. The 2 side pockets are very handy for your water bottles to be stored. I found, with a fully packed bag, that I could have 2 full 850ml Smart Water bottles (one in each pocket), with a little space for things like a multi-tool, fire steel, or a small bottle of sun lotion. In the lid I kept my waterproof jacket, my first aid kit and the waterproof bag cover for ease access in case of emergencies. The bottom of the bag does have a separate compartment for things like wet shoes or clothing if you have a spare pair, but this can be fully opened internally to maximise the internal space of the bag. The front pocket I used for my gas windshield and bushbox, plus coffee sachets and my inhaler, yea sucks that I need one. In the main body I had my sleep mat (trekology ul80), my trekology pillow, sleeping bag, cook kit consisting of a titanium frying pan, titanium plate, odoland camping cookware kit (bought from Amazon), Mossy Oak multi-tool (you never know when you'll need one), poop trowel, water filter, spare clothes, headlamp, powerbank, charger cables, wet wipes. Oh and I had to tie my tent (Helm 2 compact) on the outside at the bottom. There's clips that hold it in place, no need for extra chord or anything. On the lid there is also additional clips which I used to keep my kneel pad secure. Weight wise: around 12-13kg (including food) for the long distance. 15kg for the short distance. The minimal moan is the pockets on the waist straps? They're so tiny there is literally no point unless all you wanna store in them in a lighter. The bad: For short distance treks with a heavy load, not too, too many bad things to say. It's tolerable. The chest strap that goes across your breast needs a longer strap to extend, it's very short and pretty restrictive. I'm not the skinniest of people, and I found I had to keep releasing it when it was at max length every now and then for my lungs to expand properly. Those straps are supposed to help distribute the weight on your back and take strain off your shoulders, not be restrictive. The breast strap NEEDS to be more extendable, not everyone is a skinny minnie. Just an extra inch or 2 (lol that's what she said) longer. When you get to longer walks, or a hike with a decent load... no. The shoulder straps start to dig in, especially under the armpit moob area. I cant speak for any woman but damn, my man b00bs and shoulders were in a lot of pain after 12 hours. I had to keep holding the shoulder straps and pulling them to relieve some of the pressure.Overall its a damn good bag for shorter journeys and can take a lot of bashing about. But for long distance hikes, it needs a bit of work. The design is decent, the part which mainly hits your back is designed so there's a little space for airflow. Little being the keyword, there is airflow but you will still sweat as the bulk of the shoulder and hips are still in contact with you, tis like a little pocket of air.Hence the 4 stars. Extra padding on the shoulder straps, more length to extend on the chest strap and slightly bigger pockets on the waist belt...After thought on MY bag - I'm not sure this backpack will last that long if it is continually used for long distance hikes with a decent load and/or heavy loads for shorter treks, I'm seeing a few 'weak' spots show up, where the clip straps are pulling away from the main body, but then again I have put this bag through it's paces. We will see.

Great value
This is a cracking backpack, perfect for the scout, DofE or outdoorsy person in your life. Not sure why it says for men, it's definitely unisex. Lots of clips, loops and zippy bits. Comes with a sort of giant fluorescent shower cap that protects it even further from the elements.

Feels poor quality but is actually pretty good
Used this bag for backpacking round Canada and America for a few weeks. It came home in one piece and will be used again. It's a good size and comfortable, and came with a waterproof cover which is good. It doesn't feel top quality but is actually pretty good, let's see how long it lasts (currently rating it as good value for money)
