The selection of pens was nice, but after sitting for a few months, all the pens dried out and are no longer usable.I've had brand-name art markers that have sat around for 20 years and still work great.I don't expect 20 years of service from a cheap Amazon pen set, but more than a few months would be good.

Bought these to do calligraphy on all the wedding stationary I had to do. Let me tell ya...there was a lot. Between addressing invites, hand writing RSVPs, and hand written thank yous with addressing those as well. At first I was upset. The pens did seem dry. They wouldn't write but owning real fountain pens (that's what I used to address save the dates also reason I switched to these pens) I dampened the end with just a little water and tested until the ink started flowing and they worked great! So IF you get them and they are possibly dry. Don't give up and throw them away or send them back just yet. They were perfect for what I needed. The ink is beautiful and I received so many compliments.

It’s very opaque and dark. It lasts a long time and the tips don’t seem to be dulling even after using one pen for all 100 of my wedding invitation address labeling. The ink isn’t dried or any less dark as when I first started. It didn’t bleed through any of my white envelopes either. Great product!

Packaging was fine, but a couple of the pens are dried out.

Great calligraphy pens. I tested them well and all worked, ink was very black, and there was no skipping. I like the wide variety. 3 chisel tip, 2 fine tips and 5 brush pens. I bought these because they were very cheap at $10 for 10 pens. If you see a better deal, go for these.I left them uncapped for about 30 minutes and they did skip at the start but went right back into working order after a couple of strokes. I can’t speak to their longevity though as I only just got them.I prefer to buy cheap pens since I’m a total beginner and I wouldn’t want to get fancy pens for just practicing pages. I feel that these are comparable or at least a good cheap alternative to more expensive sets of pens. I personally didn’t notice any difference but they weren’t exact dupes in terms of design since these are slightly wider and longer and the size info is in the cap instead of the body.Check my pictures for testing pages, images of the pens, and comparisons to the tombow fudenosuke brush pens.
