This is the biggest roll-up pencil case I've ever seen for sale. For the price, you get a big case and a smaller one. I use the big one to store my collection of ; I've got about 75 of them and there's room for many more. The loops are the right size to firmly hold conventionally-sized pencils, even when they are nubs. The roll-up strap & snap is designed right and in the right place to do its job. The case is made of cheap artificial materials sewn together really well. That works for me. In case you're curious, here's why I prefer CONTE Pastel Pencils. I find that they are more transparent and more erasable than other colored wax and pastel pencils. I use them like water colors over pen-and-ink drawings. They can be erased -- within reason -- without damaging the ink or the paper.

These pencil holders are of very nice quality. The canvas is very durable and bound to last a very long time. The 48 size rolls into a compact unit, ready for travel. The 72 holder folds in half lengthwise, then folds in 3, making it easy to pack into a suitcase as well. Both holders have a flap on one end to put the pencil tips in to help prevent breakage and a snap closure to keep them closed until you are ready to use them. They both also have extra slots for an eraser and sharpener (not included). The 48 holder has 2 snaps so the roll can be made tighter if preferred. I would recommend this product to everyone.

I’m definitely used to higher quality art products, but for $15 this is actually a very good product. Two pencil wraps for $15 is not a bad deal. It’s a bit tight for anything other than a colored pencil but to be fair it is called a pencil wrap for a reason and it’s important things don’t fall out. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I am pleasantly impressed with the product I received.

Love the way these open up. Only tif I have with these is that there is no where for a sharpener and eraser. Other than that they are pretty and durable feeling.

It is not actual leather. I don’t believe it is canvas either. However it is still a sturdy material and I love the organization. The price was great also.

It’s well made and has really enhanced having a bazillion prismacolors. What I mean is its helped me get organized! I don’t attach them to each other, I find it perfectly acceptable to carry two of these around. Not bulky but offers sturdy protection nonetheless. Had them for a few weeks now and stitches are still good, no fraying anywhere, everything intact. I take my pencils everywhere and I use them heavily so durability is really important to me. Previously I had one of those huge zippered cases and I hated it from the moment I got it. Too bulky, doesn’t lay all the pencils out. Get this if you’re on the fence!

Ok, so I got it for crayola markers & tried doing it one at a time and the thing made a giant hump. Yes yes, it is supposed to be for pencils but I don’t have those. Anyway, if I compare it to my speedball leather/canvas pencil roll (quality a smidge better) they use a plastic lip that’s sewn a bit tight to protect vs the loose leather lip this has which when rolled up looks nicer (on the speedball bag the markers aren’t peeking out unlike this (pic attached) in part because they use an elastic vs leather band(function vs aesthetic, right?yep)). The 40+ has a better pencil head protector (sewn down) than the 70+ (floppy). Those grumps aside—the stitching is consistent, good quality loops, & once I gave the markers an extra loop each it all worked. I took some points off on sturdiness/durability because the leather strap isn’t taut & will likely get caught on something.

I have many pencils and find it more comfortable to use a pencil roll. Other rolls fall apart after second use.

This is my second purchase of these. So great for storing all my pencil crayons (Prismacolor, Faber Castell and Caran d’Arche) and the small one works great for the ones I’m currently using; easy and fast to find the colour I need. Keeps all organized; with room for erasers and small sharpener.
