Nordstrom Friends and Family Cookbook: Heartwarming Recipes for People You Love

I bought the cookbook because I adore their Chinese Chicken Salad and the recipe is in this cookbook. But the purchase provided so much more, many great recipes. Also, the company has a food/fashion blog that has many other great recipes.

This is in my top three cook books and its my go to read when I need to find a dish for a dinner party or just dinner for the two of us. The recipes are so wonderful and its not just one of those cookbooks that you use once or twice and forget about. Honestly its my first one I open when I need an idea for an amazing meal. Many of the recipes from the Nordstrom Cafe menu are in this book. If you haven't eaten at the Nordstrom Cafe which is a restaurant located in the store then you are definitely missing out. Its a quick, affordable place and I am always blown away by the amazing food so when I discovered this book had recipes from the cafe I was on cloud nine. One of my favorites is their bistro french fries that are coated in herbs like rosemary, thyme and chives. They are a lot of work but so very much worth it. There are recipes for salads and salad dressings that are out of this world. The recipes are all very thorough and easy to follow. The style of the book is elegant and the large glossy photos make it a fun book to look through. I truly have no bad things to say about this book and only wish I had bought it sooner.

I have many Nordstrom cookbooks. Each is full of fun and delicious recipes.

I enjoyed this cookbook, although I wish it contained more recipes of the dishes they serve in the Nordstrom Grill restaurants.

I have missed lunches in the cafe now that my job is further away. This book allows me to make some of my favorite dishes at home (a bonus during this quarantine period).
