Good adhesion, thin, great price
I have used this tape for automotive use and a couple home improvement projects with latex and oil based paint. The 3M tape is better, but quite a bit more expensive. This tape is very thin, so you have to be a little careful when you remove it. It is somewhat prone to tearing, but not as bad as you expect, considering how thin it is. The adhesion is good and the thinness means you can tape fine edges with good results. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it...particularly, after pricing the name brand stuff!

It works and is cost effective
The backing is much thinner, but it is usually strong enough to hold. At $10 a roll for Scotch brand, it was an easy decision. Now I need cost effective paper for my masking machine.

Terrible tape
Second delivery , I reviewed my other order and I’m sending it back . So this one has to go also , you need to review your tape. I been in the auto restoration for over 50 years and this is the worst tape I’ve ever tried to use. It doesn’t stick to anything, it’s horrible.

Applied easily made corners easily, but left residue
It worked well and was easily to remove if you removed it within a few hours, but if you left it on for a day or two in the sunlight, it became difficult to remove and you’ll need to use a solvent to take off the Residue

Masking tape that sticks
Affordable masking tape that performs as expected. No bleed though, no residue left. The only downfall it it takes forever to find the start end of the new roll
