Awesome lens, Photo accessories combo
This Sigma 135mm 1.8 Art lens is my first Sigma lens in many years. Used some in the past on film cameras. On DSLR's had purchased all Nikon lenses, then discovered the newest Tamron SP lenses, purchased two (45mm/85mm) that are outstanding lenses, made me sell off my equivalent Nikon lenses. Thought I'd give this Sigma a try, based on great reviews. In my opinion its everything the reviews have said in positive features. Beautiful pictures, beautiful bokeh, super high definition IQ, fast and accurate auto focus, great build quality, heavy. Used on Nikon 800E/810 bodies, one required in camera fine tuning, the other none. These lens purchases have convinced me that the new technology being produced and offered in some Sigma and Tamron lenses is well worth the investment for upgrading my lenses. The other positive thing found on Amazon was this Sigma lens deal with a Sigma dock and many fine Altura Photo accessories that was offered by Digital Goja, a real live photo shop in Florida. I found positive Amazon and other site reviews. They are an authorized Sigma dealer who have priced the Sigma lens and Altura accessories, the same as just buying the lens only. I have purchased the Altura Photo wrist camera grip on Amazon, sold by Digital Goja, and use them on all of my camera bodies. Having a couple thousand dollars of camera body and lens tethered to your wrist just seems safer to me. Glad I found this combination offer on Amazon Prime for a great lens with accessories from a company that has many positive reviews. Very satisfied!

Impressive sharpness and creamy bokeh
I’m very impressed with this lens, it feels very heavy, solid and has an overall professional and quality feel to it. I have only used it a few times during the blue bonnet season and when shot wide open at f1.8, it is razor sharp with beautifully soft and out of focus backgrounds.I have compared sharpness with my Nikon 70-200mm VR and it is in an entirely different league. My 70-200mm is sharp, but the Sigma 135 art is visibly sharper in the center as well as corners. I also have the Sigma art 50mm f1.4 and I’m very impressed with the Art line of lenses and have chosen them over the available Nikon counterparts with no regrets. The focal length of 135mm is very suitable for portrait photography because it creates a flattering look it’s probably as heavy as the 70-200 but it has a well balanced feel when used together with my D800E.

Super Sharp
This is an exceptionally good lens, as are the other Sigma Art Lenses that I own (24-35, 35, 50 and 85). It is so sharp — I tested it on a D850, and was startled by resolution. The build quality is amazing—you can’t go wrong with this lens.
