Whitmor Christmas Tree Storage Bag

Someone stated that this bag was not really like a duffel bag like in the picture. They must have received a different model or something because this bag is just like the picture. It fits my 7.5 foot Thomas Piccone three section (very bulky) Christmas tree perfectly and with room to spare. It's nice to not have to work at it to get it stored away like I had to with the tree's supposed storage box, which turned out to be just the original shipping box and there was almost no way of getting it back in the darn thing without getting my arms and legs scratched trying to tie it tight and without ruining some of the bulbs and also breaking a huge sweat in doing so. This bag seems sturdy enough to do it's job. I wouldn't recommend moving it around too much once it is in it's bag. I packed it right in the basement, so there was no transporting necessary. I would probably take the tree out in the basement in sections and bring each piece up to set it up again come Christmas time. I just wanted something to protect it from the mildew and possible mold and moisture. I can't comment on how it holds up to that yet as I have only just used it this season. I will have to let you know come Christmas time how it smells. :) Great bag for the money. It's like a tarp material, not super sturdy, but so far so good.

When our Christmas Tree box finally gave out it was time to house it in something else. I started looking for bags at a local retailer and found them to be very expensive. I looked online and found this bag. I decided to give it a try. We got the bag in the mail and its shipping packaging was good and small. Once I opened it up I realized how big this bag really was. I only needed to put a 6 or 7 foot tree in it and there was more than enough room. Of course, I took my tree apart, so then there was more room. I ended up putting another 3 foot tree in with the other one as well. I have had it in the attic for a few Christmases now and it has held up great. Next time I might get a smaller bag so it is easier to handle and not so much extra bag at the end where I do not have much tree filling it out. I think its durable fabric and has kept varmints out, if there are in in the attic.I think this is a great buy if you are in need of a place to store your Christmas tree, or anything else you might decide to store in it. The handles are nice for carrying and has held up so far.

I bought this bag last year to store our tree and so far, it has worked very well. It easily holds our 7' tree's 3 sections and the stand as well. The material is thick and sturdy and it seems like it would take an awful lot to tear it. The bag has been carried to and from a storage unit and seals tightly so there was no dust or dirt or creepy crawlies inside when we opened it this year. My only complaint is that I wish the handles were larger or perhaps that it had more handles to grab onto. Since the bag is very large, the small handles in the center can make it hard to maneuver.

It is pretty thin material , but geez this bag is HUGE. I have a 7' tree with a pretty big base that fits in it PLUS I can easily fit three reels of lights and it still has room! my hubby were being silly and Both of us could get in there with the tree and have room . It is a bit of a pain to carry around, the straps could be positioned better, but hey you can't have your cake and eat it to!All in all for $10 this is a very nice tree bag, much better quality than the ones offered in my local stores for close to double the price! Down the road I may opt out for an actual plastic tree tote, but if you're looking for a cheap and effective alternative then this is a splendid option! Two thumbs up!!

Well I have yet to use it for my Christmas tree but it makes a good storage bag for the liner of my 14' proseries pool with still more room in the bag.it beats trying to store it in a huge storage container.Not sure about the wear and tear.only time will tell.I make sure that 2 ppl pick the bag up on the ends without using the handles if it has to be carried.At least this way I know the handles won't rip off.

This bag has plenty of space for my 6ft tree. There may even be enough extra space for a second 6ft tree. I haven't had any issue with the bag ripping, but it's not hard to envision a seemingly normal use of the bag still resulting in a rip. Once the bag rips, it is likely trash, but, again, I have not experienced that. This product works well for a "store and forget for a year" type of use. Anyone moving is around routinely (e.g. rearranging a storage space, moving) may run in to trouble.

Nice bag, seemed sturdy enough, it was just REALLY big! Could put 2 trees in there, but our tree is one of the slimmer ones. Much bigger than I wanted, because I didn't want the tree to flop around, so I requested a return but it wouldn't be worth the money. The seller gave me a $5.00 credit anyway which I thought was very nice. If you need a really big bag, this would work.

Literally, this bag is too much. My 7-1/2 ft. tree is in 3 sections and doesn't take up half the space in the bag. The only thing I could do to keep things manageable, is to slide all the sections of the tree to one end, double the bag over and tie it with bungee cords. Even so, the tree takes up more than twice the space it did in its box and I'm left with an ugly red eyesore. I would have been better off with a large trash barrel. Maybe I can bury it in the back yard and dig it up once a year.

This bag is massive. I read the reviews before purchasing it and people had said you could fit more than one tree in it, no problem, and they were right. for it to be full like the picture, you'd need two trees in it, if not more. My tree is huge, and it could fit inside twice. The only issue I have with this bag is that it is impossible to carry. The handle placement shown in the picture is annoying. Who could possibly lift an entire tree from the middle with those tiny straps? It would have been more helpful to have four straps on it, one for each edge. I put this bag near the closet first, and then put the tree in and slid the bag into the closet. It has been sturdy so far. For the price, it is good, but it doesn't really help save space. I only bought this because the box for my tree got wet in my basement, so I wanted to protect the tree. It makes the tree take up more space because it isn't snug. Still, I don't regret this purchase.

Really good quality for the price, but the bag is HUGE - bordering on too big. We have an 8ft tree in it and the bag isn't even half full. This leads to the additional problems as the bag is so long and deep that it makes it difficult to manhandle. I'd rather have the bag too big than small but be aware that it is VERY big!

The bag is huge but the zipper is poor. It broke right off when I went to open it. Contacted the seller hoping to get it exchanged.
