I wanted a camera that would allow me to see who is at my front door but didn't want to buy a full security system. This $25 camera fit the bill. It set up easily, in about ten minutes, via an app I installed on my phone. It connects to my wireless but also can use data. I placed the camera in a side window by my door and can now view who is at my door from any place in or away from home. This gives me a sense of security and since it is visible to door-knockers, may also be a deterrent. Cons: it does not provide a picture at night, and does not record. You get a real-time view. All in all, it is a budget-friendly device and I am pleased with the purchase.UPDATE: this camera was hacked. I threw it away.

I tried all settings from #1 to 5 for the motion sensitivity it kept sending emails every minute so now I keep it off and I keep it pointing different points still to sensitive even when it’s pointing to a wall and there’s no movement I get alerts

I absolutely loved this item because it works great but I think somehow someone hacked the app because the other day, at 6 am the camera turned on and someone was watching me in my bedroom. Scared me too much to even use it now. But, I had purchased it to check in on my dog while I was at work. I used a password that wasn’t easily guessed so I have no idea how this happened but it’s very unsettling.
