2 Pack Airlocks and Bored Rubber Bungs

They fit tightly , so expect my wine to ferment well

Came well packaged and quickly. They do the job. On some wine now so will see how they do but initial impressions is very good.

A bit fragile but working ok for my current batch of mead. Been in place for 2 months now, the bung fits well into the 5 litre glass bottle. I just have to be careful when taking it out to take samples for testing the specific gravity as the plastic tubing is quite delicate and I don't think it would survive a hard knock if it was accidentally dropped

I bout these for my demijohn when doing small batch brewing. They are really easy to use and the bung fits standard demijohns perfectly. I had some really lively yeast and had a bit of a blowout through the airlock, so when it came to cleaning I did find it a little difficult to clean the air locks out. I found that by soaking them it helped alot. Good value for money and I would buy them again as and when I need them.

I bought this double-pack of rubber stoppers with bubbler airlocks as I needed to replace a split screw-cap from a Brooklyn Brew Shop beer making kit. (Whilst BBS offer replacements directly for $10, international shipping was another $55 so that obviously wasn't going to fly.)I took a gamble on whether these would fit, as I couldn't find dimensions for the stopper in the description. (They're 1 1/4 inch wide at the top, if you're wondering.) As it happens, they fit the Brooklyn 1Gal demijohn just fine with a nice tight seal. Cracking.Only reason for the 3/5 stars for "easy to clean" is because these bubbler-type airlocks are a bit of a faff compared to the 3-piece cylindrical ones, in terms of getting the PBW/StarSan through them, but otherwise they do the job and no issues.Overall, they do the job I wanted them for and now I've got spares without forking out an arm and a leg. Nice one.

I had read that some people had problems with the bungs breaking up in their brews and they look like they could just from the screenshots, however, they're absolutely fine and I've had zero issues - I will add that there were some loose little bits of rubber around the edges where the seams were but I just pulled off anything I thought could fall off and the rest was solid.These airlocks are quite hard to clean but as long as you don't let them get dirty and leave them, there's no problem. Make sure to clean them out before and after use and store them in a clean dry place and you won't have any issues

Returning item as not the same as the advertised standard pink rubber bung... It's red. Packaging sealed so don't want to chance it and open to see if fits demijohns, so unfortunately returning
