Rudimentary but works
This is not your generic Amazon purchase where you'd purchase, receive, plug and go. You have to attach the leads in on the right places and either crimp or solder or in. Mine came in a unmarked box with no instructions so you have to figure out which opening is input vs output. The bottom is out, the side spout is input. Other than that, it works perfectly as it should and I feel like it was good value for my money and helped me in a pinch (where I had to drain an unremovable and difficult-to-reach compartment in a device). The flow rate was decent for the small device (but nothing to rave home about) and there's a button that turns the motor on and off.

Affordable. Works.
The media could not be loaded. Cheap. Works for what I needed it for. Just needed to drain some water out of the bottom of my dishwasher since it wouldn't drain itself. Worked great. Now I can work on it without dumping a bunch of nasty water on myself.

Nice little pump
I bought this to use at work on a machine that had a leaking seal. The water would leak into a pan and I used this pump to pump the water back into the machine. It works very well and never had an issue keeping up with the leak. The wire connections to the motor could be a bit better though.

Great Little Transfer Pump
I used this pump to suck up some antifreeze and pump it up about 4 feet into a small opening. The self priming works great, and the included line was heavy enough to sink in water and ethylene glycol for easy use. 1/4 inch ID vinyl tubing fits on the pump great with no need for a clamp even on the output. I did choose to solder the wires instead of using the included push on connectors, and added some duct tape around it for electrical short protection and a strain relief on the wire. The included power brick has in inline switch and a light that indicates power at the receptacle. It took a few minutes to move about 2 gallons, but not that long... Great value, definitely recommend!

bad out of the box
Dead right out of the box. The pump would pick up the liquid and draw it to the pump but wouldn't output the liquid from the pump. Tried everything I could think of and the silicone tubing siphons and the pump wont pump.

NOT silent, that's for sure
Well the pump is quiet noisy, wouldn't want it in your bedroom in a fish tank. No instructions period, so trial and error on suction & exhaust, and Amazon said people buy 1/4" ID hose for this so I bought the recommended hose, and it's too big, 10 bucks wasted. Does it move water at stated speed, well so far for the five minutes I have had it going all's well except noisy.
