Follow the instructions and it will be the color listed
I followed the instructions exactly and was a bit worried when it first dried. You can see from the picture the fabric on the left that has more of a pink tint was before the final wash and the fabric on the right that is more true to the color is after the final wash. My fabric was white before dying it. I would say the color is a light version of the color listed on the bottle which is exactly the color I was looking for. I did wash it with some old towels just in case it bled but I am quite happy with it now that the dye has settled. Making a arcane cosplay for my neice and she already loves it.

Works great, just make sure to follow the instructions
This is my first time dyeing something, and from asking around everyone kept on recommending Rit Dyemore, so I decided to give it a try.Overall I'm pretty happy with the results, I wanted to make a particular wig I had for a costume a bit darker in color, and while it came out more saturated than expected, it did the trick. Following instructions online in terms of the stovetop method went incredibly well, although if you're doing it inside, just make sure you cover countertops and any other surfaces with plastic sheets or newspaper or something, since dye dripping might occur while removing whatever it is you're trying to stain. As a final note I will say if you're planning on dyeing a synthetic wig or something with a lot of loose fibers, just keep in mind to be careful while stirring the mixture and the item, as it *will* get pretty messy and tangled when you pull it out, so it's good to have detangler or other wig products to get the wig back to a preferred style. Overall, I highly recommend this product, although water/dye ratios, as well as the base color of the item you're staining, can greatly affect the end color, so please keep that in mind.

Works Perfectly if you know what you're doing
I needed the dye to age the appearance of a white Lace Jabot into a classic ivory colour, to go for the more Authentic Portrait look. Always have a test piece ready! And remember that you have to use little amounts because white picks up any color quite effortlessly. I only used 2 drops of dye in the pot of water for the first test piece to come out offwhite, I added just a couple more Drops for a deeper hue but the second test piece turned straight up tan so I had to dump water and add more fresh water to dilute the potency of the dye. After only about a 30 second dip into the simmering water, the 3rd test piece was Perfectly Ivory!! I followed the same time with the actual Jabot And Cuffs, rinsed with cold water and I Couldn't be Happier with the results!
