Creature Caravan

This one takes some getting used to but is really cool.

I have played this game multiple times with friends and it is really fun! The artwork is great and the mechanics of the game keep you engaged and ready to compete for the top score, but without having to go TOO competitive and ruining friendships, haha. It plays like independent adventures for each player and you compare scores at the end. Seems a little overwhelming when you first look at the game, but after your first playthrough, it'll make sense and you'll be wanting to play a second time to try new strategies.

Fun game, even though I never win (I get caught up in assembling a caravan of fun creatures and lose sight of the points).This game gives players a lot of options, and doesn't get weighed down with rules. i.e. you can move onto a space with another player, you can play cards mid-turn, you can re-roll your dice... Despite all the freedom to do whatever you want, it still feels puzzley and strategic.

After years of looking for a game that we could play with everyone in our family, Creature Caravan has made it to our game table every Sunday for months. Every time we play, we enjoy trying new strategies and discovering new creatures and combinations. One of my favorites for sure!
