I waited to write this review until I had used my new Nanoleaf floor lamp for just a bit longer than 3 months. This makes a more reliable and experienced review.ASSEMBLY: I found the assembly extremely easy! Much easier than some of the reviews imply. I read through the few negative reviews about assembly issues but many of these reviews sound like they did not watch the assembly video or even bother to read the instructions. It sad that people like these can leave reviews. All required assembly tools are included...very convenient. :)QUALITY: I have found the quality of the materials to be superb. This lamp is quite sturdy. The base provides excellent stability and the rubbery bottom prevents it from slipping or scratching our floor.APP: The App was easy to set-up on my Android phone...but after a few weeks of use, the App had a small bug issue. I contacted Nanoleaf's customer support team and the were quick to respond with helpful advice. They walked me through the resolution steps and I have not had any more App problems. There are so many pre-programmed light scenes that I could never see them all. This is very handy. We all have our favorite scenes for certain situations, but I particularly love the "beats with the music" feature.This Nanoleaf lamp works great for accent lighting in any room. Nightlight in the bed room, party light when we have friends over, band light when we are jamming on our drums and guitars. Overall I am immensely pleased with this purchase. I'm going to buy another lamp so we can have one in each corner behind our drum kit. I would highly recommend this for anyone who likes cool light scenes.

Was worried about the installation after reading some reviews, but it was actually pretty easy if you follow the instructions. It even comes with a magnetic screw driver which was nice. Build quality felt very sturdy, weight base has a non slip grip to it.Once plugged in, my phone immediately detected a matter device is ready for setup. Instead of going through the Matter setup, I downloaded the app instead so that I'm not missing any features. The app setup was easy and it even provided some videosI have this setup in the corner by my nightstand, I wanted to use it as a reading light, which has been perfect. The light can get pretty bright, and I can schedule it to automatically turn off so I don't stay up too late. What I didn't know is that this has something called circadian lighting setting. Apparently this may help with your health, alertness, productivity, and more.

I’m really impressed with this product! Installation was a breeze—it took just a few minutes, and I didn’t need any special tools or instructions. It’s extremely user-friendly, which made setup quick and stress-free. One of the standout features for me is its compact design. It doesn’t take up much space at all, which is perfect since I’m using it to replace a traditional lamp in my guest bedroom. Not only does it free up surface space, but it also gives the room a much cleaner, modern look. The design is sleek and stylish, and it complements the decor beautifully. Overall, I definitely feel like I’m getting great value for the price. I’m very happy with both its function and appearance!

The lamp looks great in my living room corner. It gets really bright when I need it, but I love being able to dim it and change colors for a cozy vibe. The color effects and music sync are impressive. I was a bit nervous about assembling this lamp, but it turned out super easy, especially with the included screwdriver and clear instructions.My phone detected the Matter device right away, but I chose to use the Nanoleaf app for full features. I’m very happy with how sleek it looks, how well it looks in my living room, and how fun it is to customize.

Disappointment.I was hoping this to be an improvement over the Govee which has really bad software and Matter support.But Nanoleaf didn’t even work out of the box. Connected everything, plugged into power, wifi, updated firmware - and zero light. Yep, failure.But even if it had light I would have returned it.Look at the pics - the end of the light strip connecting to the base doesn’t fit, and you are always scared of pulling too hard while pushing the led strip in.And then to top it off - check out the remote. It’s Black icons on Black.. W T F. Is this a joke? Or is this painted in some special colors that will only show up if the light remarkably turns on?We will never know.

Despite what others have said, the light strip is the correct length; there's just a very specific way it must be installed. Instructions could have certainly made this more clear.The actual problem is the light just isn't very good. Compared to the Philips Hue Signe, and even Nanoleaf's lightstrips, this is significantly dimmer, and the colors are less vibrant. At 100% brightness, it's equivalent to their own lightstrip at 10% brightness. This was very disappointing, enough that I chose to return both lights I purchased.

Finally a floor lamp that got matter and HomeKit correctly done!! Govee could learn from nanoleaf on how this should be done. I now have full HomeKit support and at a way better price then Govee. FYI I had the same issue with fitting the light where it seems that it’s too big but you’re not supposed to stretch it. Just let it fall in and it will snap right into place. I just bought two more of these. Would like a little more responsiveness with the app but works fine.
